Re: how to make MonkeyGTD save in Google Chrome?

2009-10-18 Thread Kostya
So where I am now?Firefox and MonkeyGTD is too slow.
Chrome and MonkeyGTD doesn't work for me - doesn't save.

So I'll need to search for another GTD online or offline program/system. Any
tips? What would you recomend?

 Thanks for the reply!
Created a new MonkeyGTD online. It did save online (upload).
Downloaded it with the link on the right - didn't save offline. Says
the same: The original file ... does not appear to be a valid Tiddly
 Wiki

I am not having a problem with Chrome. I don't use the enable-file-
cookies option, but I do keep the TiddlySaver.jar file in the same
folder. I just at my other Chrome options and I don't see anything
special. Can you download a fresh vanilla tiddlywiki and save changes
  to it with Chrome?

  Hi guys!

As MonkeyGTD runs so much faster in Chrome then in Firefox, I want to
use Chrome. Slw responce was my main complaint about monkeyGTD
  before.

But how do I make it save in Chrome?

  I created Chrome shortcut:
  C:\Documents and Settings\K\Local Settings\Application Data\Google
  \Chrome\Application\chrome.exe --enable-file-cookies

I placed Java applet into folder with MonkeyGTD file. Nothing changed.
It still doesn't save both online (only appears to save) and offline.
  Gives me error:

The original file ... does not appear to be a valid Tiddly Wiki.

But in Firefox it saves OK. But is so slow.

Please teach me how to use MonkeyGTD in Chrome.

Re: Chrome saving problem

2009-10-18 Thread yaakov

forgot to say :
it used to work - for a week or so
only in the past 2 day something broke apparently.
I have tried with a clean version but no improvement.
I have tried with Iron instead (maybe some night built in chrome would
have fuckoff the set up) but no more success.
I updated the .java.policy to allow read,write
still no sucess

 Hi all,

I am using monkeyGTD on a local file system only.
I have put the TiddlySaver.jar in the same folder.
 Launched with --enable-file-cookies
 I still get message:
It's not possible to save change changes. Possible reason include:
 - Your browser doesnt support saving(...)
 - The pathname contain illegal character
 - The TiddlyWiki HTML File has been remove

I don't manage to solve to the problem.

 Any idea.

 thanks.
