Question | mGSD 3.1.8b -Exclude Sub-Projects from Active Projects

What is the best way to exclude the Sub-Projects from being listing
within Active Projects?

The following syntax will list all Active Project & Sub-Projects:

Should I just remove the sub-projects tiddler from excludeSearch?

Any recommendations are appreciated.
