I would call that a bug. Well spotted.

That'll be what happened. I think I created the file in Windows and
the processed it in Ubuntu. All looked fine, but obviously wasn't.

Thanks for the feedback. All is well with the mighty mgtd :-)

Thanks all

Re: Have the new shorthand tweaks broken quickadd in mgtd?

2009-05-07 Thread Heller

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but there is a
difference between Linux and windows hard returns:
- linux just knows a CR (Carriage Return) at the end of a line
- windows needs a CR (Carriage Return) and LF (Line Feed) at the end
of a line

So when you txport text things from Windows to a Linux (Ubuntu)
environment you are given an extra character (LF) at the end of a line

Re: Have the new shorthand tweaks broken quickadd in mgtd?

2009-05-07 Thread Damian

Very weird.
There wasn't a line between the two when I cut and pasted.
That explains things as I deliberately use that feature.
There must be something weird going on with my Ubuntu text pad app
that made one 'enter' act as two but look like one.
Anyone else experienced this?

Thanks
Damian

I think it might be a feature. Do it again without the blank line between
the project and its action and it should work.
