Hi Venkatesh, take a look at gtk_file_selection. This disables the TAB 
key and uses it for filename completion instead.

 In Gtk 1.2 the arrow/tab (only the tab key in 2.0) keys are used for
 global navigation within a container. Is there any way of disabling
 the use of, especially the arrow keys, for navigation, in a conatiner ?
