Not too much interchangable with the FZR 1000. Rear caliper, same rear pads, rear swing arm, counter and rear sprockets, rear rim but w/o abs pickup. Cylinder block, cases and trans, radiator maybe. Crank is different as is the head, and cams. Compressions is lower but I don''t know if its due to the pistons, head and or head gasket. I got a salvage bike for this purpose but may restore it. If you need a front wheel, rear wheel, front arm parts, or that oil-window cover, check out the sidecar builders. GTS interchange parts list?
Hello All, It looks like I might actually own a GTS in the near future. The problem is, is that it will probably be bought at a salvage auction in less than pristine condition. Here's my question. Is there a list somewhere out there of what parts the GTS shares with other bikes?? I belive that its engine is based on the FZR1000 engine of the same year??
