Re: [guadec-list] Visa invitation letters
Thank you for the review! I updated the travel sponsorship letter to reflect that it can be partial, and uploaded both templates and the instructions at https://wiki.gnome.org/Travel/VisaInvitations Marina On Fri, Jun 13, 2014 at 11:38 AM, Ekaterina Gerasimova kittykat3...@gmail.com wrote: On 12 June 2014 18:26, Marina Zhurakhinskaya marina...@gmail.com wrote: Hi all, Attached are two letter templates - one from Linux Logistique with an invitation and another one from the GNOME Foundation with the travel sponsorship information. Note or my personal advice for visa applicants don't book tickets in advance because if they reject your visa then you would get some refund but often you would loose money for nothing. For EU visa application, ticket booking is mandatory but you can do that by blocking the tickets, you don't have to book it in advance. For what it's worth, last time that I checked with KLM and Lufthansa, if one's visa was rejected, then one could get a full refund from both. Of course, one should always read the terms and conditions carefully before booking.
