Mano hace un par de días yo preguntaba lo mismo, alguien me dijo que no
levantaba porque tenía primero que configurarlo, y reiniciar el pc, así lo
hice y funcionó a la perfección después de eso.
Mira aquí te pongo un fichero de configuración con algunos comentarios para
que lo ajustes a tu red y necesidades:

favor si alguien usa el dhcp3 digame como configurarlo, con manuales
porquer no inicia proceso. ni copia archivos a /etc ¿que pasa amigos? eso
es ubuntu 11.10, si está el paquete pero no es igual que debian y otros el
de debian no me sirve ya encontré uno que se llama udhcp pero no da ip a
nadie que es?
