Also living in Madison, and trekking to the Bristol Renn Fair in Kenosha
every weekend, Mad City to Milw is approx 1 1/2 hour drive, depending on
construction :)

My mother-in-law gave me a pair for christmas two years ago. they cut really
well, they do give an line to follow, which can help. however, they are
heavier than my usual scissors, and that's pretty much why i don't use them
all the time.
