I saw the video--very funny presentation!

At one point, the man puts his hands into the corsets & Lifts the woman off her
feet. The corsets, naturally, stay perfectly intact. lol

I have a friend who did a bodice ripper presentation at a costume con-- IIRC
she ended up getting dragged offstage via the intact and unaffected corset by
the frustrated would-be ripper...

I had a friend way back who borrowed several of my dresses so her husband,
an illustrator could get some photos of her in them as models; he wanted to
create more accurate cover art for "bodice rippers."

Heh. Did that for a history class, going the other way round. Since it
was a mixed group, I wore leotards underneath! Made it easier to slip
on jeans & t-shirt and sit through the rest of the class.

It's fun to watch the uninitiated as you discuss all the
underpinnings-- even the dress is unfamiliar to them.

Hey! If you watch the video, that's my friend Kelly Cochran-Davis who made the
outfit and is demonstrating to Ms Gist how to wear it! Very cool! Kelly is an
excellent costumier. KarenSeamstrix
