[h-cost] gift exchange

2007-10-19 Thread [EMAIL PROTECTED]
I was hoping to try it again, even though I never received a gift, nor an
acknowledgment of the one I sent (and chose not to follow up on it, assuming
it would be a lot of trouble for you!). But thanks for all your hard work, I
think it was a great idea!

[h-cost] Gift Exchange

2006-12-26 Thread llyonet
Many many thanks to Pierre and Sandy Pettinger, for the wonderous package I
was gifted with.
I made myself wait till Christmas eve to open it. Each and every item is
lovely and I had to remind my little 7 y/o daughter that she could not make off
with fabric all of it was wrapped in. I can not say thank you enough. I am
overwhelmed to recieve such perfect gifts.

To Katheryne (of Woodbridge? NJ),
I mailed your gift late (hanging my head in shame).
You should get it in the next day or so. I have been sick and working some
long hours at my church doing costuming for The Gospel According to Scrooge.
But still, I should of gotten it out to you in a more timely manner. Please
accept my sincere apologies and please let me know if you do not recieve it
soon. Or feel free to contact me off list.

Re: [h-cost] Gift Exchange

2006-12-26 Thread Aylwen John Garden
Diane,

My recipient Kate Soehnlen is still waiting as well - I missed the quick
trip to the US! Maybe we can extend it to be a New Year's Gift?
I do so love the globalness of all of this that I do not mind the wait!
:^

Cheers

Aylwen

I apologize to my recipient. I am SURE that her gift is going to be late.
It takes quite a while for a package mailed from the USA to be received in
Australia but, I hope that Aylwen likes her gift. It actually costs me more
to mail the package than we were suppose to spend for the entire gift but,
the post office stated if I went the cheaper route, it would take up to 4
weeks for the package to be received. Something I will have to remember in
 the future.

Next year, I will try to be a more Prompt Santa,

[h-cost] Gift exchange

2005-12-27 Thread E House

Dawn,

Could you give me the email address of my Secret Santa gift recipient? I
just got an email from the vendor I bought the gift from, saying that
Australian customs had refused to pass it through (though according to their
rules, it should have passed). I'd like to email my recipient to see if the
two of us can figure out how to get her the gift!

My recipient's name is Sharon Nevin.

Thanks, and sorry to bother you with this--it seemed better to do it
off-list. Hope I was right. =}
