Hi, I should not have answered as i did, obviously they did it in a different way than in my period. How long time did they have this lacing in the side bodice? Anybody knows? You know what lightbulb went on for me? She even says so in the essay -- that's *why* gowns were side-back laced -- not because the bodice fit better, but so that you could have an unbroken neckline!
