Gracias, viendo que sigue siendo infornación de interés, quizá podríamos 
meterla en una wiki.

Mi opinión personal es que matrix es un lavado de cara de amdocs, rollo 
responsabilidad social corporativa... Hay otro factor a tener en cuenta y es 
que amdocs recortó a la mitad el financiamiento de matrix en julio [1] "porque 
había mucha gente usándolo" y entonces, "que paguen otros también un poco". Si 
fuera un proyecto de espionaje estratégico YO no dejaría escapar el poder de 
coerción de ser el único sponsor. Ahora han conseguido patreons, liberapays, y 
el patrocinio de una empresa de cloud.[2] Así que habría que indagar sobre "la 
nueva junta de accionistas". También hay lo del purism[3], esa promesa de 
smartphone que usará matrix por defecto. Puede que saquen pasta de ello también.

Es bastante importante lo que cuantas, además matrix es algo que yo
solía recomendar. Alguien ha mirado el código?

Veo 3 opciones :
1. Ignorarlo y usar matrix como siempre.
2. Montar un servidor matrix propio.
3. Pasar a usar/recomendar otra tecnología.
