Re: [Haifux] An Apology
You are forgiven. Feel free to do so again. I hope that our club is less flamable then others ;) house rules: 1) Don't drink water after fruit, 2) Try being polite. 3) if (2) fails, undo (1). 4) flame. 5) don't read emails from me. As far as I remember, you didn't use any dirty words, nor did call anyone by names. Or did anything that could offend anyone on this list. It is your list and I should have respected the house rules. I was out of line. It seems like you didn't get the point: We don't have any rules here, not that I know of. The last time someone needed to be told, if my memory is right, was when someone posted pictures of a lightly dressed female, which happened to promote a not-so-descent web site (it had some vague connection with Linux). This became an issue, because it turns out that we have some very young people reading this list. Other than that, I think we've tolerated anything but postings that were clearly annoying. We aren't offended so easily, we don't get angry so easily, and we don't flame so much. My apologies to the Haifux mailing list. You've done nothing wrong. You asked a question, you expressed your opinion, and you got answered more or less to the point. This is what mailing lists are for, aren't they? Re: [Haifux] An Apology
Now I am offended. Big chief's angry feathers will attack your penguin. Role d8 for damage. if your hit points are below 0, consider your alter ego dead. The guy clearly tries to become a British citizen -- let him. He did asked a bit of a political and explosive question (which he has the right too, I agree), got some responses (he anticipated flames...), and finally everything is fine. I encourage you all to confess your sins. You are also invited to confess your SYNs for my devilish syn attack ;) On Wed, 11 Feb 2004, Eli Billauer wrote: Yoni Rabkin Katzenell wrote: I have been told that my previous mail to the list in relation to Haifux being Linux or GNU/Linux, was an inappropriate and inflammatory email.
