Re: [Hampshire] Bracknell Computer/Gadget Fairs cease

2014-01-22 Thread Bill Wolfe
Hi,

I you feel strongly about this,  then why not let a Councillor know your
feelings and concerns.  In the run up to an election [May each year]  the
councillors will be keen to make the largest number of people happy,  with
decisions and policies.  Councillors are in a position to represent the
interests of citizens  to the administrators of the council.

Councillors are democratically accountable to residents of their ward. The
overriding duty of councillors is to the whole community, but they have a
special duty to their constituents, including those who did not vote for them.

You can find a councillors contact details via the bracknell-forest.gov.uk  web
site

You might pick one of the "Community Champions",  such as  - Small business
champion – Councillor Wade
http://democratic.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/mgUserInfo.aspx?UID=159
Home address:
St John's Lodge
Church Street
Crowthorne
RG45 7PD

Phone:  01344 777294

Bus. email:  bob.w...@bracknell-forest.gov.uk

Or you might write to one of the  one of the councillors concerned with
Business, Trade and Industry in Bracknell,  such as - Bracknell Town Centre
Regeneration Committee -
http://democratic.bracknell-forest.gov.uk/mgCommitteeDetails.aspx?ID=163

or maybe something related to the provisions of Market facilities, and Small
Business accommodation.

Ah, haaa -  they are consulting the citizens of Bracknell for opinion over what
to do with the current Market  at  Bracknell Market and Winchester House.  So a
Market place for Gadgets and  Computers  might be pertinent to that
consideration.

http://www.bracknellforestpartnership.org.uk/628

The public will be given three options during an independent consultation:

1. Keep Bracknell Market and Winchester House as they currently stand and do
not redevelop the site.
2. Move Bracknell Market to an outside location* and redevelop Winchester House.
3. Close Bracknell Market and redevelop Winchester House.

all the best,   Good Hunting,   Bill

File a bug.

ubuntu-bug linux

Then report your findings so far.

It's possible the bug may already have been reported. There seem to be
some existing ones in this area both on launchpad and elsewhere.

Ping us the bug number and I'll ask one of the kernel guys to take a look.

Cheers,
Al.
