Ten years ago (that's a scary thought in itself) I used to work as a consultant
for various document management solutions. One of the products we used
was Alfresco, which was pretty decent and also available under the GPL
(though there's also a commercial Enterprise edition).

At the time, it had a feature that allowed you to suck in data from Email.

Whether it's still any good or not, or at all suitable for your needs, I don't
know. It's probably quite a heavy weight and feature rich option. Whatever
you choose, it probably needs to be a solution that's going to last a
reasonably long time.

I like the Xerox Phaser range. The solid ink is nice and easy to handle.
My printing usage is generally printing hardly anything for months, with
sudden bursts of printing large amounts of stuff.

The printers aren't the cheap end of the range though.

Sorry, only just noticed that comment.

I thought it was just me, since Entroware seem to get rated as a
good company by the Ubuntu Podcast. Twice I've tried to contact
them about their laptops over the past few years, and neither time
did I get a peep out of them. I ended up buying something from
elsewhere both times.

If the backups are stored at the same site as the original data, then no
(unless they're going into a suitably secure safe).

I'm also using Let's Encrypt, and I'm really happy with it. I've had two
issues with it though.

First, was that my original websites were behind a proxy/firewall that
didn't allow HTTP (only HTTPS) access, and the auto-setup didn't work due
to not being able to call back. I've since moved away from that setup,
and with a more normal environment it all worked first time.

Second, was that if you install the script manually, and run the cron
with the recommended --no-self-upgrade option, then it doesn't update
itself. I have had it fall far enough behind that the script then stops
working and fails to update your certificates. Running it manually
without the --no-self-upgrade flag fixed that relatively quickly, but
I need to make sure the script gets updated regularly.

I haven't used them, but they've been mentioned on the Ubuntu Podcast
a few times.
