They closed down at 06.00 UTC without any identification. Do you happen to know what station transmitted this one? [HCDX] HR1 1134 off channel
On March 28 at 3.40 I noted Hrvatski Radio first programe with a very strong signal on 1130 kHz. It was not heard on 1134, so this one seems to be off channel. The Stiftungsrat made a decision: on March 26 a so called compromise proposal was accepted with 22 to 11 votes, with 1 abstention. Only small parts of Radio Austria International (Logo, station's tune, a daily 15-Minute-English-Journal...) will survive, the programme will consist then mainly of relays of the domestic programme Ö1. This programme includes English and French news shortly after 0800 (0700 UTC presumed). From July the name will be Radio Österreich 1 International. The amount of 4.5 Mio. Euro yearly, which was needed for Radio Austria International, shall be decreased step by step to a minimum stated the ORF Head of the Economic Affairs Dept. Alexander Wrabetz.
