[HCDX] 90 mtr stations heard
Hi Tonight I have had some 90 meter stations of interest maybe. Guyana 3291.25 khz with male speaking in local dialect ,then another male coming with id as voice of guyana and into a short talk before resuming music. 1015 gmt with rx320 and 50 ft wire. Unid possible bolivian? 3309.95v hearing female speaking with very low audio,almost sound like a religous broadcast. This one is drifting on me I can't tune em in for more than 5 minutes without having to retune in ssb mode.1040 GMT using rx320 and 50 ft wire. Unid possible PNG station? 3335 khz using usb and 2.25 khz filter I am able to pull out some audio of male talking but at the moment it is very weak and fading out at times.1101 GMT using rx320 and 150 ft wire.Gaining in strength as I listen but by no means very good copy of transmission. Looks like autumn, also on the bands. AM was highlighted by India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka last week. QTH this time: Jalasjärvi, Western Finland. Rx: Racal RA-1792, Yaesu FRG-100. wires: 700 m 100 grad, 500 m 180 grad, 500 m 270 grad, 700 m 290 grad. The greatest hits: AFRICA 1377 25.8. 1828- TANZANIA: R Free Africa, Mwanza. This station has had indeed some of its best moments this summer. Often over France with a great signal. 1386 29.8. 2214- GUINEA: R Rurale, Labé. ASIA 621 29.8. 1730 INDIA: AIR Patna. No local ID from here. Just quickly noted during Delhi news, along with 774 Shimla, 882 Imphal, 909 Gorakhpur, and 990 Jammu etc. 747 29.8. -1741* INDIA: AIR Lucknow. Superior signal. 801 29.8. -1742* INDIA: AIR Jabalpur. 927 26.8. 1730- PAKISTAN: RP Khairpur. 1035 28.8. 1750- PAKISTAN: RP Multan. Quite nice signal for a moment over Tartto on co-channel! But alas, it didn't last too long. 1107 often 1630- AFGHANISTAN: R Afghanistan, Kabul. New 400-kW unit seems to be in top condition, but how long. 1107 27,28.8. 1641- CHINA: Xinjiang RGD, Urumqi. Kazakh language channel. 1206 28.8. 1728- INDIA: AIR Bhawanipatna. 1242 often -1742* INDIA: AIR Varanasi. More or less audible every evening. 1296 every evening 1700- AFGHANISTAN: Azadi R, Kabul. VOA Afgan programming, dari pashto. Funniest moment was when the lyrics of country western song were translated into local language by the speaker. Great signal. BBC sign-on 1927 UTC spoils a bit of the fun. 1341 27.8. 1703- PAKISTAN: RP Bahawalpur. Enjoyable listening now that the hell machine known as Mega Radio has closed down.
