Nobody came and took your letter out of the PO Box, and now your report is returned to you. It's that simple. -- 73 Martin ---[Start Commercial]- World Radio TV Handbook 2004 is out! [HCDX] News about Voice of New Sudan
On 2 Aug I got a brief e-mail from the engineer contracted to set up the shortwave transmitter of the Voice of New Sudan in Southern Sudan. He was in Nairobi on his way back home to US. There was more technical problems, they had managed to do some testing (9310) with modulation during three days with about 7kW before they got hit by a lightning last Sunday. They are down until they get some capacitors. The engineer will return to Sudan in a few weeks. The frequency will possibly be shifted higher, to 9485, as most of the receivers in the region will not tune below 9400. I'll keep DX-community updated as I get more info.
