In Martin?s post he positively identified this RTTY signal is coming from Puerto Rico. He even knew what type of crypto was used. My question is how do you know this? I mean is there some artifact that says that it?s this a certain type of crypto and that it?s coming from this exact location? Not doubting anybody, I?m just curious to how you can positively identify something that?s encrypted and pinpoint the exact location.. It would seem to me that these things would be closely guarded a more then likely even classified? Thank much. The dates should read May 2 & 3 and not April 2 & 3. 9880 VOT May 3 on this possible new frequency maybe ex 9875 to avoid Pyongyang co channel. Observed at 2030 s/on in English until s/off 2130. Noted its absence on 9875 May 2 so it may have moved to 9880 then. Not sure if a permanent frequency change or another switching error at Emirler? Noted its absence on 9875 April 2 so it may have moved to 9880 then.
