Thank you Glenn I was listening 0400 to 0700 hrs. (12Mid to 3AM) Maybe it was Rebelde? I thought it was 5.020.Rebelde is 5.025, right? Can anyone identify whats on 5.020 SW in the evening? The logs say that the Solomon Islands are the only one really on that frequency, but here in Boston the signal is so strong, I doubt it is making it all the way from the Pacific Ocean. My guess is it is someone in the Caribbean, as it sounds Spanish to me with lots of music. (I don't speak Spanish) Anyone know? They have this site: http://www.radiohc.cu/assets/streaming.html However, my internet radio does not allow me to put in a "web page". I am looking for a URL that ends in .asx, .pls, mp3...or something like that. I figure the straming URL must be hidden in the html of that page, no? Thanks! [HCDX] 1100AM at night.
In the wee hours of Saturday Morning in New England, I was hoping to pick up WTAM 1100AM. Instead, I picked up some oldies music coming in strong. The few station breaks I heard had no ID. Music was oldies based, Chuck Berry, Fortunes (You've got your troubles), etc. Looking at http://www.nf8m.com/pattern_maps/US-CA_nighttime/N-map_1100KHz.html I see no other stations on 1100AM that should be reaching me. All I could think of was some AM station on 1100AM was doing some "after midnight testing"? running their full power and daytime antenna? (WHLI?)
