 1140  CHRB  AB, High River;  Letter with date/time  sticker after 11d;
 nowhere
printed or mentioned call letters, only slogan Southern Alberta's Family
 Radio Station.
Signed by the Office Administrater. What happened to C/E and GMs? Letter
mentions We are pleased to receive reception reports informing us of how
 far our
signal carries. You'd think a QSL Card would be printed. I'll take the
 letter, I guess.

Konnie-
I once got a QSL from WCFL-1000 Chicago, telling me they don't QSL but to
send another letter for the QSL. Yes, I didn't figure it out any more than
you did. Must have been union workers. That was in 1967.

[HCDX] BCB QSLs

2006-04-22 Thread Konnie Rychalsky
Two new QSLs worthy to the collection: new State and new Province - nice
after an absence of 20 years or so in BCB DXing... seems the sunspot cycle
is in favor:

1020 KCKN NM, Rosewell, QSL card in 14d for Test; this one was extremely
difficult
since nearby KDKA was in direct line of fire and no possible means to phase
out.
