[HCDX] Help with UNID
Hi list, Who can help me with the follwing "tips"? 73 from Björn Fransson, DX-ing on the island of Gotland, Sweden CLANDESTINES AND UNID 17660, UNID African, 1225-1430*, Feb 1st (alsoJan 30th), playing African style pop music, very nice! I was trying for new Libyan clandestine Sowt Al-Amel and heard some Arab music far back in the background and also a lot of jamming from time to time. My guess first was that the music station was something intended to make interference to the Libyan clandestine, but why jam as well??? The music was sometimes in French and seemed coming from Congo or similar. Help! (Björn Fransson) _ Don't just search. Find. Radio Bukarest, Romania, didn't you recognize the IS and the perfectly clear ID "Radio Bucaresti, Romania" in Romanian at second 49? Sure, that the frequency was 918? I can't believe that! I bet you mix something up and the frequency is anything but not 918 kHz. 855, 909, 1053, 1152 and 1179 kHz were frequently heard Romania-frequencies in these days. -- 73 Martin ---[Start Commercial]- World Radio TV Handbook 2004 is out! You have a clear ID for Bucharest, Romania, after their IS, on one of the clips. So the frequency might have been 909?
