I saw multiple reports of people hearing him on nearby remotes...

nothing out here in Alberta, of course. I have heard his call on 475 khz
wspr many times tho.

[HCDX] WI2XLQ 486khz AM

Did anyone hear WI2XLQ(WA1ZMS) on 486 khz?
I tried for the 2nd transmission but heavy rains and high (for winter) 
temperatures limited propagation somewhat. That being said KE7A(TX) and 
N4WlO(AL)  were audible in the 475khz amateur band.This was in the WSPR mode.  
AM would be much more difficult. WA1ZMS QSL states that he is using about 10 
watts.  I did hear some machine like noise but nothing audible. I have been 
monitoring the 475 amateur band since its inception.  Bill Smith,
