Aaah, Usha, you might want to change your paassword and send this communique
just to Kevin and not to the list. Just a thought.
I would change your password now.

 Hi Kevin,

I will try to contact the programmer, if you could provide their mail id.

And our present VistA server is not on the net right now, so I really
can't
give you anything. But we have an ftp site.
 Site : ftp://ftp.etipl.com
 Username : vista
 Password : vista123

 Thanks

  Usha,

  1. The fixed version of CrossOver office wouldn't be
sold on their web site. You would probably need to
e-mail them. The programmer from them that worked on
  it was Aric Stewart.

  2. If you will give me a ip address and a
login/password, then I will scp it to you. Be aware
that Nancy is convinced that it somehow damaged her
server database. However, I have been using it on my
  production site with no problems.

I am sure that Kevin in his wisdom makes backups like bunnys make
bunnys and then I am sure he looked at the code researched it... and
then made a well researched decision .

Either that or he flipped a coin :)

I have a two headed coin particularly for these situations.

Re: [Hardhats-members] Problem while connecting to server using crossover/wine

2005-04-14 Thread Usha
What is the 'fixed version of CrossOver Office from the CodeWeaver's
company' mean? I couldn't find it on the site www.codeweavers.com. Would be
great if you could give me the link to download it and the 'wine-enabled
CPRS'?

Thanks
Usha

 Usha,

I can send you the version of wine-enabled CPRS that
is working on my linux server. But you will need to
get the fixed version of CrossOver Office from the
 CodeWeaver's company.

Let me know if you want the file. It would be best if
you could private mail me with the address of your
linux machine, and a login/password. I can then scp
it to you. Attaching files as email attachements
doesn't work with my Yahoo account (I think)

Re: [Hardhats-members] Problem while connecting to server using crossover/wine

2005-04-12 Thread Nancy Anthracite
You need a special copy of Crossover office and CPRS and all of the bugs are
not out of it yet. On my machine, it prevents connections from any copy of
the demo after you try to connect to it with Crossover office and apparently
it does the same thing to yours. We are trying to figure out why that is
happening. I would suggest you just connect from a Windows machine and
replace your demo with another copy of the database for now.

[Hardhats-members] Problem while connecting to server using crossover/wine
