Re: [Hardhats-members] Re: Entering patient info using CPRS

2005-09-12 Thread Yamir Encarnacion
I gave the user the following keys:
PROVIDER,PSA ORDERS,PSAMGR,
PSB CPRS MED BUTTON,PSB INSTRUCTOR,
PSB MANAGER,PSD ERROR,PSD PARAM,
PSD TECH,PSD TRAN, PSDMGR,PSJ RPHARM,
XUPROG,XUPROGMODE
Of the keys you have listed in
http://openforum.worldvista.org/~forum/index.php?title=Pharmacy_Issues
I did not allocate
PSJ RPWARN, PSD BUMGR
because those keys do not appear in my options of keys
I can allocate.

Another issue is that VistA is designed to work
 like
   drug ordering in
the hospital: the doctor writes an order. This
 is
   then reviewed by a
pharmacist. And if everything is OK, then the
 drug
   is dispensed. So
when I order a drug in CPRS, it shows the drug
 order
   as pending.
Pending a pharmacists review that will never
 happen.

The CMS VistA office is supposed to change the
 code

   pharmacist review step is bypassed.

The question will come down to whether or not
 you
   want to wait for
CMS, or figure this out yourself.
