I'm sure that it would be. However, the length of time between installation
and reporting/analysis could be days or weeks. I very highly doubt the film
is reviewed regularly.

The smartest thing to do is simply use ATMs you're used to. You're far more
likely to notice the subtle changes if it is one you use regularly.

[H] blocking Yahoo toolbar ?

2006-03-27 Thread FORC5
I have noticed of late a lot of sites have a boxed pre checked to install yahoo
tool bar, while I am alert enough to uncheck the box some one in the family is
not and I do not want to uninstall it anymore, any way to block it's install up
front ? running ms anti spyware and webroot anti spyware, I wonder if they
could be configured. Neither one pops up when it installs. I know ( think ) it
is no worse then google just do not want it.
I think what yahoo is doing is not ethical, one should have to check the box if
they want it, not the other way around, very sneaky IMO
thx

[H] Cable modems....

I just saw an ad for a cable modem and go to thinking. I rent a modem from
RR. Seeing as how I have been with them for about 6 years or so, I have
spent about $300-400 in rent over the years ($5/month).

Does any one know, or can point me in the right direction, which modems are
considered best?

Thanks,

It's extremely unethical. The Adobe Reader download is truely
nasty. Not only are the boxes prechecked, but they are hidden for
the first couple of seconds.

hmm.. non dual core? I'm trying to go wade Anand's site and determine the

give up a few FPS that dual-core will serve me better in the long run,
especially if games ever utilize the technology. I tend to upgrade about

I can appreciate that. I do extensive validation on any o/c that I do before
I call it good. This X2 actually hit significantly higher--but 2.45 was the
speed that it finally passed all validation.

The 165's, however, are extensively tested and favorably binned at the
factory. They have much, much more headroom than Athlon* grade consumer
chips.
