[H] Vista 64 partitioner
I have a new laptop that came with Vista 64. My version of Acronis Disk Director doesn't support Vista 64. is there any reason why I can't just boot to DOS and re partition using Partition Magic for DOS?

LOL, I can see that argument going nowhere in the reverse situation! You reward the company doing the right thing, not support the inferior for fear they'd disappear otherwise. W. Would Intel be as aggressive in pursuing performance and value without a serious competitor? I think not. [H] Interesting improvement!
I am in the process of removing hdw and sw objects from my main office machine. I think it is on borrowed time because of spooging caps in the cpu VR circuitry. Today, I removed the Philips Acoustic Edge PCI sound card. I enabled the on-board AC'97 sound system. I will look on the Asus drivers disc for any accessory tools for this, but for now, with just the option enabled, I find that the sonic output seems better both in quality and volume than the old Philips card. Who knew? LOL! Now, I'll do the same with my Gaming machine that uses the same m/b. :) On-board audio systems have come a very long way since I last played with one. Best, Duncan

[H] Motherboardpro.com
Hey guys, I just wanted to let you guys know about Motherboardpro.com. I've bought things from them and they are a good company to deal with. Just wanted to give people more "choices". I am in no way affiliated with the company so it's not a shameless plug :) -- Best Regards, Zulfiqar Naushad

AMD makes some good processors, and for most people the slightly lower speed plus lower price makes them worthwhile. Core 2 Duo for email and surfing the web? Not worth the extra dollars. T
