have clonezilla but have not used it. Also have used the sw that 
comes with crucial ssd's and there usb adapter for laptops. slow but works.

out lean, mean, and single purpose and I was happy to pay for it. I 
have owned various versions including the 2008 version... the 2010 
version when I went with Windows 7 and now the 2013 version to 
support windows 8. I hate the 2013 version. It is bloated with 
unwanted, unneeded, and complex features that are so over thought 
that it is hard to actually use the program the way the individual 
user wants to use it. Acronis 2013 locks up on me in Windows 8, and 
most of all I don't trust it.


What is the collective using these days for backup images?
