Re: [H] Best Small business VPN Gateway??
I would go with Cisco every day, ignore the rest. They may be cheaper or offer wizzo features but for security, Cisco is always the clear winner. Depends where your priorities are. - Original Message - From: JRS [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: hardware@hardwaregroup.com Sent: Sunday, April 01, 2007 12:38 AM Subject: [H] Best Small business VPN Gateway?? Printed out a couple hundred pages of stuff, just getting more and more confused. :) Any opinions on who is has the best? Needs to be small business grade, not home stuff Aventail, SonicWall, Juniper , Cisco, Netgear, D-Link, Firebox, Check Point, etc.. I kinda like the idea of the new SSL-VPN's, no client install needed, but are they as good/OK compared to the IPsec VPN stuff?? The SSL-VPN appliances seem hot right now.. Leaning towards the Sonicwall or Juniper SA 700 right now. :) -- JRS[EMAIL PROTECTED] Please remove **X** to reply... ...Cleverly Disguised As A Responsible Adult... -- No virus found in this incoming message. Re: [H] Best Small business VPN Gateway??
Well, they want less than 2 grand and they don't want VPN that uses a SW client that needs to be installed which Cisco uses, as do many of the others. Which is why I was scoping out the newish SSL-VPN stuff that uses the browser secure socket layer. Everyone has a browser on their PC. :) They want 10 people to be able to remote in, but may need up to 25 VPN access licenses or whatever. :) The choices are mind boggling, so was hoping one of you guys had already set some of these up for clients or whatever. :) I would go with Cisco every day, ignore the rest.
