SEARCH for anything /Acrobat/. Delete all.
That should cover upstairs.

Now do the 'above' in your Registry.
Adobe can be really hard to kill and re-comply with your chosen install.
It has a mind of its' own. And why I do not use Adobe any more. Just
me perhaps!

I understand you are trying to re-install acrobat.
Adobe is really nasty to drive. JMHO.
