I'll probably wait until Vista comes out to build. I mean we are only looking at January or February. I was hoping some decent options for DX10 video cards would be worthy of purchase by then. I have done some time in IL2 with some friends, not as much in CFS. As for MSFS, the last version with scenery and road add-ons my local area was almost exact. I used it a lot for navigation work. Your not going to learn how to land in MSFS, LOL. But it will help you if you know what you are doing already, keep sharp on checklists, navigation, etc. Plus I like eye candy :-) The sitting on the fence thing is worse when you have some $$ to burn which doesnt come often. :-) On 10/24/06, FORC5 [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: sitting on the fence can be a bitch, I have a permanent seat there lately :-| I am a private pilot ( single engine and Glider) and did not like MS flight sim, just not the same, now combat flight sims better imo fp At 01:45 PM 10/24/2006, GPL Poked the stick with: I have done a lot of reading over the weeks. I have saved enough to build NOW, but am trying with all my might to be PATIENT and wait. If its going to be a year before we see DX10 cards, maybe I'll just pull the trigger and build the best dual core PC I can muster with my hard saved funds. If its a few months out I'll wait. BUT NOT KNOWING IS A DIFFICULT PILL TO SWALLOW! Especially when you are ready NOW. What do you folks think? Thanks! -- Tallyho ! ]:8) Taglines below ! -- They're only trying to make me LOOK paranoid.
