wound up being a reference to ANYDVD under 
low filter in the registry. program I blew 
out last year sometime.


this one pretty much messed with me for awhile.

checked that, seems OK.

would change it but my external gives the 
same error. I have a new drive but it is the 
same.


maybe I'll pick up something newer and see if 
it helps, cheap enough

HW, removed high/low driver stuff in registry

everything suggested by MS. even errors same
with a external connected.

this or is this just me. DVD still works in
shop so I mapped it for use in office IF needed.

shop puter still on build 1909.

has anyone else seen this bug ? wasn't for
needing to use the DVD would never had even
noticed as much as these get used these days.
When I put this system together last year my
son thought the DVD was not needed.
