Actually it is already pretty fast with a recent kernel and xf86-video-glamo. I would say about a second. A led as an indicator that something has happened is imo pretty nice, because you don't have to press any buttons nor have to really focus your eyes. And only if it's on you'll turn the device on to see what actually happened. - - Lars > > - Werner > > ___ hardware mailing > list hardware@lists.openmoko.org > http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/hardware -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkso4wIACgkQBX4mSR26RiMNzQCfa/B8vdfqoIVLLaXykIblnqRF HmUAn1yJgafjKzaQoxBMNWiA/bIZDJni =ZV2b -END PGP SIGNATURE- ___ hardware mailing list hardware@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/hardware

Hi Leds can either be on or off during suspend. Blinking is not possible. Same with vibrator. You can let the audio chip on during suspend. But since you won't be able to send any audio data from the cpu it's not that useful, except if you want to suspend the main cpu while having a phone conversation. - - Lars -BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAksoqdoACgkQBX4mSR26RiNsEgCaAh81GX2nki5lpfZOBZT4tIBo R2EAn3eAh92UijaoyL22NrHhLyRhBX6F =gF7j -END PGP SIGNATURE- ___ hardware mailing list hardware@lists.openmoko.org http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/hardware
