Further for the record, it's entirely possible that those tests passed
on your machine before the fix.  If your user was allowed to write to /
then the test would pass.

This is why it's going to be good if we're all checking out
harmony/enhanced/buildtest and run it, as the diversity of platform (and
even odd local configuration) may show us a lot.

Yep, the TEXT failure on windows appears to be down to a difference in
machine default locale -- so same thing.
