[ha-Safran]: New catalogue of new Israeli books

2005-01-17 Thread Oren Mass
Shalom,
We have the pleasure to offer you, free of charge, the new PDF format of our
  catalogue Recent Books From Israel
No. 410, January 2005(Shevat 5765).
Please inform us if you would like us to send it to you ny e-mail. You may
forward it to those likely to be interested and inspired by it.

You will find 470 titles in two files, one of the Hebrew titles (30 pages),
and one of the non-Hebrew titles (English, French, German, Russian, Arabic,
Yiddish, Spanish etc., 11 pages). You will be able to see the Hebrew text,
in Hebrew fonts, on any computer, and you may also print the entire
catalogue or parts of it, according to your domains of interest. We suggest
nevertheless that you print it out, as it will be much clearer in a printed
version than on the screen.

We hope you enjoy this new selection of Israeli books and we are here in
Jerusalem, ready to receive and execute your book orders for you. If you
have a special request or any inquieries please do not hesitate to write or
e-mail us.

I don't understand why the name Israel can't be used.

Can other country's names be used?

[ha-Safran]: Independence Hall in Tel Aviv question

2005-01-17 Thread David Helfand
Dear Colleagues,

Does anyone know if there is a way to reach Independence Hall in Tel Aviv
through an e-mail address? I was there last month and heard an amazing
presentation from a young man who delivered his talk with such passion. I
would like to contact someone there to see if there might be a tape
recording of his presentation. I have not been able to see anything
regarding a contact on their web site.

Thank you,
