Diburim: A Lookstein Center e-Community for Adult Jewish Educators

Launched December, 2006

Diburim provides a way for adult Jewish educators, including those of
us who work primarily in other fields and who teach Jewish content to
adults on a part-time or occasional basis, to talk to each other, to
ask questions of one another, to share articles and websites about
topics related to adult Jewish learning and to inspire one another.

Diburim is the place to engage in open conversations among people who
work in very different areas of adult Jewish education, including
synagogue programs for religious school parents, kiruv programs,
academic Jewish studies, the rabbinate, Jewish libraries, national
programs such as Melton, Meah and JLI, Israeli seminaries and
yeshivot, Federation programs and more.

Please introduce yourself to the group after you’ve subscribed.

Diburim is actively moderated. This means posts are screened before
they are posted. Please be patient, as messages may not appear for a few hours.
