A colleague wants to know if there is a test or a
sample paragraph that can be used to see if an
afternoon religious school student can read (not
necessarily understand) Hebrew well enough to start to
learn Torah trope.  For example, it would check that
the student knows how to pronounce all letter and
vowel combinations and knows to say "ruach" instead of
"rucha".

I've assured her that this listserv knows everything
or at least where to find it.
