Dear colleagues,
A question came up about Hebrew stop word lists, i.e., terms set aside at index and/or query time because they're too common or semantically vague for retrieval purposes (e.g., in English, the word 'the'). I found this list Hebrew terms at stackoverflow.com: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1365510/where-can-i-find-a-list-of-hebrew-stop-words, but it's just a list of highest occurring terms in a news database, not really appropriate. Do you have lists that you use for Hebrew script indexing and retrieval? I'd also be interested in an Arabic list. Thanks.
