You are all invited to a sefer tora presentation
on Saturday August 12, 2006 by the
Congregation of Moses in Kalamazoo (Michigan) to the very happy and thankful
Sinagoga conservador/masorti "LaJavura".
So thankful that I am flying all the way from
Valencia (Spain) and I'm bringing 8
bottles of cosher spanish dry-dry-dry red wine
and many boxes of homemade cookies
for the occasion. So, if you live within a 5 billion mile radius of Kalamazoo,
please come. I would love to meet you all (since I can't seem to get to the
Conferences) get you drunk on wine with cookie chasers.
On sunday I'm giving a hands-on practical class
in the synagogue kitchen "A taste
of Spain". We'll have a grand time mucking up the kitchen. Bring a tomato and a
handful of walnuts and we'll make a surprisingly
nutritious meal, just you wait and
see.
