Hi Amalia,

There is an image of the painting online on the website of the Israel
Ministry for Foreign Affairs, on the page about higher education.

/MFA/Facts+About+Israel/Education/EDUCATION-+Higher+Education.htm

The URL for the image itself is

http://www.mfa.gov.il/NR/rdonlyres/832BE5F2-4AFE-43FB-ADA2-8090C9A61DBE/0/MFAJ0byl0.jpg

If for some reason the URL doesn't work, go to Google Images, type in
"Pilichowski university," and then search. (Note that the name is
Pilichowski, w/ an i after the L.) The painting will be the first
item that comes up. Unfortunately, the quality of the online image is
not great. It's an enormous painting and a small image. The original
is phenomenal in its detail. You can recognize each of the
dignitaries present on the dais. In the audience are representatives
of every sort of person who lived in Palestine at the time, including
Bedouin in traditional headdress, Hadassah nurses in uniform, etc.

Hope this is helpful!

Have you heard about all the changes about to happen at Akiba? - new
name, new location, new head of school!

Kol tuv,

Marga
