Making History Relevant and Personal - Dr. Janette Silverman, Outreach 
Director, The Jewish Theological Seminary, William Davidson Graduate School of 
Jewish Education, and professional genealogist



This session will explore the ways that we can use primary documents, archives 
and other library resources to help our teachers and students connect with 
historical events. We will look at library holdings and resources that can be 
accessed over the internet to help our students become engaged and identify 
with history.



From Qumran to U'Belechtecha Ba-derech: A Brief History of Jewish Collections 
Over 2,000 Years - Naomi Steinberger, Director of Library Services, The 
Library of The Jewish Theological Seminary



An illustrated survey of Jewish collections. This overview will discuss the 
development and movement of Jewish collections on six continents over the 
course of 2,000 years.



Hebrew Illumination for Our Time: The Art of Barbara Wolff - Introduction and 
tour by Dr. Roger Wieck, exhibition curator.
