[ha-Safran] Enchantress vs. Rav Hisda's daughter
Shalom, Does any of you know why Maggie Anton changed the title of her 2012 book Rav Hisda’s daughter to Enchantress (2014) ? I know another author who changed his book title b/c it did not sell. Why here ? Amazon gives two different summaries. It’s about an idealistic attorney, Aaron Sapiro, who was repeatedly attacked in Henry Ford’s anti-Semitic newspaper, The Dearborn Independent. Sapiro’s story illustrates that one person, against all odds, can stand up against hate and make a difference. It’s a timeless David and Goliath story about bigotry, intolerance, injustice, hate and ultimately, courage. We received a generous grant from the National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH) to create a short film we can use for further fundraising. With the support of other donors, we’ve launched a website. We’re proud to share these with you.
