[ha-Safran] The Jerusalem International Book Fair

The Jerusalem International Book Fair is a biennial event taking place since 
1963. It is a substantial meeting ground between literatures and publishing 
communities-Israeli and international. Each JIBF brings to Jerusalem hundreds 
of publishers, editors, agents and scouts and presents the Israeli literary 
scene to them, while at the same time—exposing international literature to its 
attendants.
The last JIBF was held in 2017 and the next one will be 2019.

The popular book event in Israel is the שבוע הספר העברי Hebrew Book Week and it 
is usually held in May or June and it lasts between a week and ten days. The 
focus is usually in Tel Aviv at Rabin Square in front of the Tel Aviv 
Municipality and smaller fares are in Jerusalem, Haifa and in many other towns 
in Israel.

[ha-Safran] Encyclopedia Judaica

Our library is moving to another location in our building and we are weeding 
our collection. 

I am wondering if I should keep a hard copy of Encyclopedia Judaica? Ours was 
published in 1978. 

I remember discussion about Gale publishing the online version a few years back 
with errors. Are there free accurate electronic sources out there?. Is it 
necessary to keep this set? Please let me know your thoughts.

The "book week" will take place June 6 through 16. The last day is always
Saturday.

Sunday-Wednesday - 6-11pm

Thursday - 6-Midnight

Friday - closed

Saturday - from end of Shabbat to Midnight
