Re: [ha-Safran] Fwd: information on automation

I echo those sentiments. I use OPALS in two small libraries (about 5000 volumes
each) and am very happy with it.

I am presently volunteering in my synagogue's library in Massachusetts.  We are
looking into automating it and I was wondering if you had any companies that
you can recommend.
thanks very much.

[ha-Safran] Science and Torah classiffication in Elazar

2018-11-17 Thread Biblioteca iae via Hasafran
BS"D
Good Morning.
My library follows the Elazar classification and I currently have the
following books that I would like to know in which category they were:
"The coming revolution", Cohen Zamir, and two others in Spanish that
touch on the themes of Torah and Science.
On other occasions I would go to the AJL page, and in the members area, I
would consult how other libraries had classified books that presented me
with doubts.
I just entered, and I see that many of the published libraries do not have
an associated website or those that are, do not work.
On the other hand, it would be good if the type of classification of the
Jewish library that they manage would appear in the table in order to be
able to consult how other libraries classified certain books.
Thank yopu for your help and Shabbat Shalom
