Re: [ha-Safran] who wants this book??

2019-08-09 Thread Debbie Colodny via Hasafran
It never occurred to me to ask if anyone in our Hasafran group could help fill
my collection! I have all AKF books in original or very old editions, with the
exception of ELLA AKF. If anyone can help, I’ll be interested in purchasing,
of course dependent on the condition of the book. Thanks, Amy, for giving me
the idea I should have had long ago. Debbie Colodny

[ha-Safran] בית תפלה / שלמה הכהן נקרא זלמן הענא בן יהודה ליב

2019-08-09 Thread Sasse, Annette via Hasafran
Dear members of haSafran,

Please allow me to contact you with an inquiry concerning a siddur in our
library which isn’t listed in the bibliography of the Hebrew book.

It’s a second edition of Shelomoh Zalman Hanau’s Bet tefilah printed in 1736 by
the printing press of Naftali Herts Levi in Amsterdam.
בית תפלה / שלמה הכהן נקרא זלמן הענא בן יהודה ליב
אמשטרדם : הירץ לוי רופא, תצ ״ו

We have a copy in our library in which the title page is a bit damaged and the
first pages have undergone restauration.
I couldn’t find any reference to this edition in the common bibliographies, nor
in the online catalogues. I also checked with the National Library in
Jerusalem, but they didn’t have any reference either.

We have digitized the book, which is accessible via
http://sammlungen.ub.uni-frankfurt.de/urn/urn:nbn:de:hebis:30:1-150519

Did you ever come across any reference to such an edition?

Thanks a lot for your kind help!
Best regards
Annette Sasse
