[ha-Safran] AJL Conference 2022 Update: Getting Around Philadelphia

2022-06-15 Thread AJL PR via Hasafran
Getting Around Philadelphia

Whether you're traveling by train, plane, or automobile, here's how to navigate
the streets of Philadelphia. The Visit Philadelphia
visitor website offers overviews of getting to Philly
 and getting around
 once you're settled.

The simplest way to get from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)
to the conference hotel or venue is via rideshare services Uber or Lyft.
Taxis are also available. Southeastern Pennsylvania Transit Authority (SEPTA)
provides train service to Jefferson Station (about six blocks from the
hotel/conference venue) via the Airport Regional Rail Line

30th Street Station is served by Amtrak, NJ Transit, and SEPTA. Head to the
conference hotel or venue via Uber, Lyft, taxi, or SEPTA's Market-Frankford
 line (5th Street/Independence Hall station).

Don't forget Philly PHLASH
 for exploring downtown Philadelphia!__

Michelle,
Allow me to suggest the complete up-to-date English-Hebrew, Hebrew English
Dictionary edited by Shimon Zilberman , A Tikkun, Torah Commentary (asked the
Rabbi for suggestion).
I retired a long time ago, but the above are recommended.

If your budget allows, the Koren Talmud Balvi would be an excellent
addition. While it does include Hebrew, the amount of description and
graphics make it more approachable to less scholarly folks.
