[ha-Safran] UPDATED -- OVGTSL 2023 Conference Scholarship

The Ohio Valley Group of Technical Services Librarians (OVGTSL) is pleased to 
offer three student scholarships and two diversity scholarships to attend its 
OVGTSL 2023 Annual 
Conference in Richmond, KY. Scholarships cover conference registration and lodging for 
two nights (May 17-18, 2023) at the conference hotel (Quality Inn, 2006 Colby 
Taylor Drive, Richmond, 
KY).

* Student Scholarships*
Any full or part-time student enrolled at an ALA-accredited library and 
information science school in Indiana, Kentucky, or Ohio as of Spring 2023 
(including those graduating in Spring 2023) is eligible to apply. Applicants 
are not required to reside in the Ohio Valley region.

*Diversity Scholarships*
Diversity scholarships will be awarded to library workers from underrepresented 
groups and marginalized identities, including but not limited to: people of 
color, LGBTQIA+, ability/disability, and others who are traditionally 
underrepresented in libraries. Any individual currently employed full-time or 
part-time in the library field is eligible to apply. Diversity scholarship 
applicants are not required to reside in the Ohio Valley region.

Applicants must submit:

  *   Complete the application 
form, including a 250-word statement summarizing how they would benefit from 
attending this conference.
  *   Email a resume to Scholarships Subcommittee chair (Jen Montavon-Green, 
jen.montavon-gr...@uky.edu)

Scholarship recipients will be required to submit a brief report outlining 
their conference experience within 30 days of the end of the conference. 
Reports will be published on the conference website.
