[ha-Safran] Harvard Judaica at 60 featured in Harvard Magazine

2022-08-16 Thread Elizabeth Vernon via Hasafran
Judaica Library Colleagues,

This year marks both the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the
Harvard Library Judaica Division, and 60 remarkable years of service by
Charles Berlin as its Head.

The very first element in our anniversary celebration is a feature story
just published in *Harvard Magazine* about Charles Berlin and the Judaica
Division
,
which I am pleased to share with you.

There is more to come over the course of the year. In November, the Friends
of the Harvard Judaica Collection will release an online video program
highlighting the achievements of the past 60 years, to be followed in the
late spring by the publication of an anniversary volume.

Best,

Elizabeth

The journal of Kibbutz Yiron was called "Yiron", published from 1949-1991,
called "Yiron ha-yom" after that. Harvard has it on microfilm:

Yes, thank you thank you to the whole Chicago Conference team -- I am sorry

to seeing all my AJL colleagues, but for an excuse to visit the wonderful
