Hi Eric,
In this must be up to date tech world, it's great to hear some good
practical common sense advice from a man who certainly should know. Though
retired now, I always found your advice about media right on target during my
years at Sinai Temple Library and, before that, at other libraries and
learning centers in LA. I use our VHS player at home to access those special
tapes we've accrued, many hard to find in DVD. I'm grateful I didn't toss it
too soon.

cannot replace the VHS with DVD- why you should not continue to use the VHS
tapes you have, especially if it is a simple play all situation. People
are too quick to throw out their totally good VHS players. So put the VHS
