PS:
besides Alibris, which is great for out-of-print books on all topics,
there is Schoen Books in Deerfield MA
Ken Schoen has a website now, schoenbooks.com, and a very impressive
collection of Judaica of all kinds and types.

Re: [ha-Safran] looking for out of print book

2017-03-14 Thread Petite Safranit
When I look for an out-of-print book, I check Jewishusedbooks.com first.
(they can be more expensive than other sources, so beware) then I google
the title.
I look up each suggestion, compare prices and then go to Amazon to see
their USED book prices for the title. It is usually a flat $3.99
shipping but I have ordered many way below list price (sometimes 99%
off) for titles I am searching for. I find that Eichler's and Israel
Book Store in Boston are rarely well priced. If you do go through retail
stores, ALWAYS ask for a non-profit, or synagogue discount. Good luck!
